Another beautiful morning on our popular Kensington Heritage Walk in Johannesburg. Members of the Bedfordview Walking Group enjoyed sunny skies, a scenic 12 km social walk through this historic neighbourhood, followed by a relaxed brunch and good coffee. I particularly enjoyed the cappuccino, chicken livers and traditional South African milk tart.

The R59 Breakfast Special is no longer available at Fournos, but their new menu offers a huge variety of food at reasonable prices.

Britt’s Dad is still in hospital. We wish him a speedy recovery, Britt. Yesterday, Isabel completed her 300th Parkrun — 1,500 km in the bag! Amazing! 👏 Congratulations again, Isabel! Guida has just returned from the beautiful Algarve in southern Portugal — welcome back, Guida! 🤗 Anneke is leaving our shores to tackle the famous Inca Trail through the Andes to Machu Picchu. Anneke, have a fantastic time!

This was the fastest Kensington Heritage Walk we have hosted so far. The slower-paced group, hosted by Lauren and Michelle, also did brilliantly — they covered 8 km. Well done! 👍🙏👏👏🎈🎈

Another beautiful morning on our popular Kensington heritage walk in Johannesburg, where members of the Bedfordview Walking Group enjoyed sunny skies after days of rain, a scenic 12 km social walk through this historic neighbourhood, and a relaxed brunch with good coffee, a delicious breakfast special, and traditional South African milk tart.
