A large group, most enjoyable company and a tasty lunch. Thanks to all who attended and a big thank you to Candice and Lola for all the work w.r.t organising the event. Glendower Golf Club
Glendower Golf Club The club was established in 1937 and has a long golf heritage. It has hosted multiple South African Open Championships, including events on the European Tour, and other major national golf tournaments. In 1973 the grounds were proclaimed a nature reserve to protect abundant bird life on the course. Originally laid out in 1937 by English architect Charles Hugh Alison with construction overseen by Arthur Tomsett. Glendower Golf Club is one of the many gems Johannesburg has on offer to its residents and visitors.
