Bembom Bedfordview – Portuguese Café, Bakery & Restaurant
Founded by the passionate duo Charles and Lee Morte, Bembom has been delighting customers with expertly crafted coffees, freshly baked pastries and authentic Portuguese meals since 2010. The name Bembom, inspired by the Portuguese words bem and bom, means “awesome” — and that is exactly the experience Bembom strives to deliver.
Located at Bedford Village on Van Buuren Road, Bembom combines a welcoming café atmosphere with a bakery, deli and Portuguese cuisine. It is also a particularly convenient place to enjoy breakfast, brunch or a coffee before or after a walk, run or cycle.
Our verdict: Bembom Bedfordview is one of our favourite places to combine coffee, Portuguese food and a social walking experience. Whether you stop for a cappuccino and pastry, enjoy a full Portuguese meal, or join us for brunch after a walk, Bembom is a Bedfordview café worth discovering. 🇵🇹☕🥐
