Do you Need a Filter for Tap Water

Do you use a filter for tap water? About 3 months ago I purchased a ‘Little Luxury 3-stage Tap Water Filter’ for R230 at Dis-Chem (a give away?) and yesterday I bought a replacement filter for R100 also at Dis-Chem. Filters have to be replaced every 2 to 3 months. According to product specs the technology blends organic carbon and resin ion exchange materials for maximum contaminant reduction. Water is tasting better (in my opinion). Share with us should you be using a similar or any other filtration device.
