Intro – Celebrating Dad’s 100th Birthday

Dad, I consider myself a very fortune person because I’ve had an amazing friend all these years. Congratulations on your milestone birthday and may you count a few more and in good health🤗👍👌👏👏👏🎂🍰🎈🎉🥳

Dad turned 100 on the 24th July 2024 and we hosted a ‘Finger Lunch and Get Together’ on Saturday the 27th July. Thank you to all our friends who attended the function. Thank you to amiga Elisabeth Serrao, my dad’s adopted daughter who has through the years been such an incredible friend. Thank you to all who contributed with photos viz. Artemis le Roux, Brian Gilder, Jan Whitehead, John Queijo and Lorne Philpot. Carlos da Silva, the photographer took the photos to another level – Thank you Carlos.

Thank you to Paula, the Management and Staff at Pastelaria Princesa for the tasty food and excellent venue and service. Thank you to amiga Elisabeth for the very tasty Birthday Cake (and the never ending work behind the scenes) and lastly but certainly not least thank you to family and friends near and far for all their messages and good wishes🙏🙏

Dad has had good health all along but sadly a few weeks ago he was diagnosed with ‘early stages of dementia’.
