Dad is 99 Years Young

Congratulations on your 99th Birthday🍰. Good innings Dad👏. We are all looking forward to the 100th big bash🥳🎈. Thanks for your love and friendship🙏.

We went to Mr. Armando in Norwood for a haircut. Dad has been going to Mr. Armando for the past 40 years. We then had lunch at Princesa with friends John and Mr. Marcus and to round off the day we went for tea at friends (and neighbours) Jan and Artemis for delicious Greek delis and amazing Portuguese Port wine.

The mouth watering Greek delicatessen included: spanakopita triangles (feta cheese, phyllo pastry, spinach, red onion, olive oil), taramasalata (meze made from tarama, mixed with olive oil, lemon juice, potatoes and almonds), kourabiedes (shortbread-type biscuit made with ground almonds) and melomakarona (flour, honey and olive oil)… irresistible!! Wait…all this accompanied by the best Port there is😎 viz. OFFLEY RUBY PORT🍷.
