Not many gyms can dream of matching the facilities available at Virgin Active Bedfordview: a huge variety of state of the art Technogym training equipment, Concept 2 rowers, wattbikes, 2 heated swimming pools, a spa, 3 padel courts, squash courts, Club V-Max for kids (6 weeks to 13 years), ride studio, mind-body studio, 5-star conference rooms, free WiFi throughout the entire gym. There is also Kauai, a health-conscious counter-serve café serving light meals including salads, wraps, hot drinks and smoothies with indoor as well as outdoor seating. There is ample car parking.
At times there is no Municipal water at the gym. Sadly, there is incompetence and gross mismanagement at the City of Johannesburg and adjacent municipalities such as at the Ekurhuleni Metropolitan Municipality where Virgin Active Bedfordview is situated.
