Intro – The Chocolate Trail Bedfordview – 2025 June 7

A Good Workout: 8,232 steps and 420 calories. It was cold in the early morning but sunny and very pleasant throughout the day (according to the weather forecast it is going to be very cold over the next few days). Great meeting friends and making new friends.

THE BIG NEWS: Harald and Sylvia got engaged! Two hearts, one beautiful journey. Congratulations to the beautiful couple💑💍🥳🎈👍👌👏👏👏

Thank you to Candee for assisting promoting this event, all who participated, JP (Manager at the Chocolate Factory) and his staff for organising a long table for our group and for the service. The food was most enjoyable and my hazelnut milkshake was out of this world😋

Isolde sells quality organic honey. I purchased 1 Kg from her today. Should anyone be interested please WhatsApp Isolde on: 076 589 7342.

Please tell all your friends and join the ‘5K Family Fun Walk for Cancer Awareness’ on the 27th July. It is for a good cause, a few thousand people attend this yearly event. The probability is high that either your or a loved one has been affected by cancer. For tickets please WhatsApp Candice on: 081 757 1708.

Have a speedy recovery Fleur and Joel and join us next time😷😷

  • Immune system – Walking can stimulate the secretion of short-chain fatty acids, which can reduce inflammation and improve your immune system.
  • Alzheimer’s risk – A study found that men who walked more than a quarter of a mile per day had half the incidence of dementia and Alzheimer’s disease than those who walked less.
  • Joint health – Walking can help strengthen the muscles in your legs, which can stabilize and protect your joints from further damage.
