A Happy New Year everyone! Many of us made Health and Fitness important objectives for 2020.
We had over 50 keen hikers and walkers at today’s event making it the largest group in our 6-year old history of hikes and walks at Klipriviersberg. Thanks to all who attended.
Klipriviersberg was beautifully green today. The Nature Reserve is stunning throughout the year but this is my preferred season.
The weather at 7am was a pleasant 18C (64F) and it reached a max of 27C (81F) by the time we left.
It was great meeting friends, meeting people and making new friends.
Thanks to David, Jan, Niren and Sylvia for co-hosting. It was fantastic having Jan once again hosting the 5K walk.
Globetrotter Sylvia just returned from a holiday in Sri Lanka. It was wonderful having Sylvia back with us. I heard on the grapevine that Sylvia is about to depart on yet another expedition. Let me see… which countries hasn’t Sylvia visited yet?
