Yesterday for the 1st time I was able to do a 7Km ruck yomp without ending up with bruised ankles. How I did it: Vaseline, 2 pairs of socks (1 thick pair) and the bottom of the ankle weights (1.5Kg each) were hanging outside the hiking shoes (refer images).
