The end of winter is approaching rapidly🙏and the temperature can vary by as much as 25C (77F) in a 7-hour period. For example it can go from 2C (35.6F) at 5am to 27C (80.6F) by midday. We had below freezing temperatures a week ago yet the temp at midday the day this blog was posted was 24C (75F). Winter in Johannesburg is from May to August. Winters are mild and sunny during the day, but the nights are cold. In the coldest months, June and July, the minimum temperature can drop to -5C (23F). Due to very low humidity snow is rare. It seldom rains in winter. Our garden was pretty dry so I spent some three and a half hours adding potting soil, cutting dead branches off shrubs and watering around. A most enjoyable workout in pleasant weather☀🌞😎
