A nice big group. Thanks to all who participated and a warm welcome to all those attending for the 1st time. It was a warm day but very pleasant walking in the shade along van Buuren. Lots of cyclists enjoying the great outdoors. We had a good social. I also enjoyed the chicken livers and chips.

We stopped at the 100 year old Bonsai Tree to admire its beauty. The Bonsai is on a permanent display. Not to be missed!

The Jacarandas were in bloom along Townsend Road. The prettiness of the Jacarandas made one forget how steep the climbing was… actually not that steep😎

Someone in the group asked me if she would get 300 Vitality points on today’s (was it Paulette?) and the answer is yes. I got my 300 Vitality points on today’s walk. Please refer to image below. I went to gym afterwards and needless to state one does not get another 300 points during a 24 hour period.
